Scurry is a small town of about 700 people in Kaufman County, roughly 30 miles southeast of Dallas. Most visitors arrive via US Highway 175, which connects directly to the Dallas area through Seagoville and Balch Springs. The town sits at the intersection of US 175 and State Highway 34, making it accessible from Interstate 20 via Exit 503. The restored 1920s railroad depot now serves as the local museum.
