Scribner is a farming town of 725 people in eastern Nebraska's Dodge County, about 30 miles north of Omaha. Highway 275 runs right through town, connecting to West Point and Norfolk, while Highway 91 provides north-south access. Most visitors drive up from Omaha via Highway 30 west to Highway 91 north, about 45 minutes through corn and soybean fields. The town operates its own grass-strip airport for private planes and crop dusters.
