Scottville is a tiny farming community in central Illinois, about 45 miles northeast of St. Louis with fewer than 100 residents. Reach it via I-55 to Litchfield, then west on county roads, or from Springfield via Route 16. The town's 1898 one-room schoolhouse still stands as a testament to prairie education.
