Schuyler is a farming town in east-central Nebraska, about 70 miles northwest of Omaha along the Platte River. US Highway 30 runs right through downtown, connecting to Columbus and Grand Island, while State Highway 15 heads north-south to rural areas. The town is known for its meatpacking plant and surprisingly diverse population.
