Schulter is a small Oklahoma town of about 500 people located 20 miles southeast of Okmulgee along State Highway 75. Most visitors arrive via Highway 75 from Okmulgee to the north or continue from Tulsa, about an hour's drive northwest. The town sits in the rolling Cross Timbers region with its characteristic oak and hickory forests. Schulter's bright blue water tower serves as a distinctive landmark visible from the highway.
