Schleswig is a small farming town in western Iowa where Highway 141 runs right through the middle. It's about 60 miles northeast of Sioux City and serves as a quiet agricultural hub in Crawford County. Most people reach it via Highway 141 from Denison (20 miles south) or Storm Lake (35 miles north). The town hosts the popular Schleswig Fun Days festival each summer, complete with a parade and live music that draws crowds from surrounding communities.
