Schaller is a farming town of 775 people in northwestern Iowa, about 20 miles southeast of Storm Lake via Highway 175. Most visitors arrive from US Highway 71 through Sac City, then take county roads west. The town sits among rolling corn and soybean fields typical of Iowa's agricultural heartland. Its towering grain elevator dominates the skyline and can be spotted from miles away across the prairie.
