Saxman is a small Tlingit village just 2.5 miles south of Ketchikan via South Tongass Highway, home to 324 residents and easily accessible as a day trip. The community sits between Tongass Narrows and forested mountains on Revillagigedo Island. Most notable is its collection of 24 authentic totem poles, including the world's tallest standing totem pole at 132 feet.
