Savannah sits along the Tennessee River in west-central Tennessee, about 100 miles southwest of Nashville. You'll reach it via US Highway 64, either from I-40 near Lexington or from Memphis through Henderson. The small river town serves as a gateway to Pickwick Lake and the surrounding Tennessee Valley farmland and forests. The Tennessee River Museum features a full-scale 1930s general store replica with over 10,000 authentic regional artifacts.
