Satellite Beach is a small coastal city on Florida's Space Coast, sitting on a barrier island between the Indian River Lagoon and Atlantic Ocean. Reach it via the Melbourne Causeway (SR 192) from I-95 or US-1, then follow A1A along the coast. Melbourne Orlando International Airport is about 15 miles west. The city got its name from an old RCA satellite tracking station that monitored space missions.
