Sargeant is a farming community of 30 people in southeastern Minnesota's Mower County. Reach it via County Road 6 from Highway 56, about 15 miles southwest of Austin. Interstate 90 provides long-distance access roughly 20 miles south. Despite its tiny size, Sargeant maintains its own post office.
