Sardis is a farming community in Henderson County, about 15 miles from Lexington via State Route 22. The town connects to major highways through US 641 and provides access to Interstate 40 for trips to Nashville or Memphis. With just over 500 residents, Sardis retains its rural character centered around agriculture and the historic white wooden Sardis Baptist Church from the early 1900s.
