Saraland is a suburban city about 15 miles north of Mobile, easily reached via Interstate 65 or US Highway 43. The city sits in Alabama's coastal plain with mild winters and warm, humid summers. Most visitors arrive on I-65 from Birmingham or Montgomery, while locals use US 43 for the daily commute to Mobile. Mobile Regional Airport is 25 miles south. The red brick City Hall from 1958 still anchors downtown as both government seat and local landmark.
