Santee is a small Nebraska town of 235 people along the Missouri River, serving as headquarters for the Santee Sioux Nation. Drive US-12 west from Sioux City (45 miles) or take US-75 north from Omaha then west on US-12. The Ohiya Casino's red brick building stands prominently along the highway.
