Sanger is a small Central Valley city about 15 miles southeast of Fresno, connected by State Route 180 and easily reached from Highway 99. The area serves as a gateway to Kings Canyon National Park and sits among extensive citrus groves and Christmas tree farms. Sanger ships more Christmas trees nationally than any other U.S. community, earning it the nickname "Nation's Christmas Tree City."
