Sandstone is a small Minnesota town of 2,500 people along the Kettle River, about 90 miles northeast of Minneapolis. Take I-35 north to Exit 191, then Highway 23 east for a quick drive into town. The area's historic sandstone quarry supplied building material for major Midwest structures, including parts of the Minnesota State Capitol.
