Sanctuary is a tiny Parker County community about 25 miles northwest of Fort Worth, home to just over 300 residents. Most visitors arrive via Highway 199 through Azle, either commuting from the Fort Worth area or heading west toward Weatherford. The town earned its peaceful name honestly—the biggest traffic issue here is usually cattle crossing the road.
