Sanborn is a farming community of 103 people in southeastern North Dakota's Barnes County. Highway 46 runs right through town, connecting east to Valley City (15 miles) and west toward rural farm country. Most visitors arrive via Interstate 94 from Fargo, about 50 miles southeast. The town's grain elevator dominates the skyline, a classic symbol of North Dakota's agricultural economy.
