Sanborn is a small farming town of 299 people in southwestern Minnesota's Redwood County. Highway 71 runs right through town, connecting north to Lamberton and south toward Interstate 90. It's about 120 miles from the Twin Cities via Highway 212 west. The town sits near Walnut Grove, part of Laura Ingalls Wilder's prairie childhood landscape.
