Salisbury is a farming town of 1,500 in north-central Missouri, about 60 miles from Columbia. Highway 24 runs right through the middle, connecting west to Moberly and east toward Huntsville. Most long-distance travelers use Moberly to access Highway 63 and the interstate system. The 1916 courthouse with its working clock tower still dominates the town square.
