Saline is a small Michigan city 10 miles south of Ann Arbor, easily reached via US-12 or I-94. Most visitors arrive from Detroit Metro Airport, about 25 miles away, while locals commute daily to Ann Arbor. The Saline River flows through town, and the area maintains its agricultural character. The annual Salt Springs Festival celebrates the natural salt springs that gave the city its name.
