Saginaw is a small Missouri town near the Kansas border, about 15 miles northeast of Joplin via Highway 96. Most visitors arrive through Joplin Regional Airport, 20 miles southwest. The town sits in Newton County's rolling Ozark foothills, connected by rural highways that wind through farmland and woodlots. The local post office has operated continuously since 1887.
