Saddle Ridge is a tiny farming community of 27 people in northeastern Colorado's Morgan County. Located about 100 miles northeast of Denver via Interstate 76 and US Highway 6, it sits in the South Platte River valley among rolling agricultural plains. The nearest services are in Fort Morgan, 30 miles southwest. The town gets its name from a ridge formation that early settlers thought looked like a horse's saddle.
