Saco is a small farming town of 140 people in north-central Montana's Phillips County. US Highway 2 runs right through town, connecting west to Havre (45 miles) and east to Glasgow (60 miles). State Highway 243 provides north-south access through rural Phillips County. The grain elevator dominates the skyline and serves as both a landmark and symbol of the area's agricultural roots.
