Sabinal is a small Hill Country town of 800 people along US Highway 90, about 90 minutes west of San Antonio. The main route follows Highway 90 through Hondo, while State Highway 187 connects north to Leakey. Located along the Sabinal River in Uvalde County, the town serves hunters and Hill Country travelers. The 1930s concrete arch bridge on Highway 90 remains a local landmark.
