Sabetha is a farming community in northeastern Kansas, 20 miles from Nebraska. US Highway 75 runs right through downtown, connecting north to Hiawatha and south toward Topeka (45 miles). Most visitors arrive on US-75, which intersects Highway 9 on the east side. The town sits in rolling agricultural country with typical Plains weather. The Sabetha Herald has been publishing local news since 1876.
