Ryan is a small farming town in south-central Oklahoma, about 15 miles northwest of Waurika. US Highway 70 runs right through town, connecting it to Duncan (25 miles northeast) and providing access to Interstate 35 for longer trips. The area features rolling prairie dotted with wheat fields and cattle ranches. Ryan's historic grain elevator towers over the surrounding farmland and serves as a landmark visible for miles.
