Ruso is a tiny farming community in north-central North Dakota, about 50 miles northwest of Minot via US Highway 83 and county roads. With just four residents, it's one of the state's smallest incorporated places. The surrounding area is classic prairie farmland with wheat fields stretching to the horizon. Ruso operates one of North Dakota's smallest post offices.
