Rupert is a small West Virginia town of 900 people in Greenbrier County, accessible via US Route 219. The main north-south highway connects to Lewisburg (15 miles south) and Interstate 64 for longer trips. Most visitors arrive from I-64 heading to outdoor areas or the Greenbrier Resort, while locals commute to nearby towns for work. An old railroad bridge still crosses the Greenbrier River where it meets Howard Creek.
