Rudy is a small Arkansas River Valley community of 178 people in Crawford County's wooded hills. Visitors typically exit I-40 at Alma and drive 8 miles north via Highway 162, or take county roads from Fort Smith (30 minutes) or Van Buren. The 1898 post office still serves as the town's unofficial social hub where locals gather.
