Roxton is a small farming community in northeastern Texas, about 15 miles southwest of Paris on US Highway 271. With around 400 residents, it sits in rolling East Texas farmland with a humid subtropical climate. Most visitors arrive via US 271, which connects north to Paris and Interstate 30, or south toward Mount Pleasant and Tyler. The town centers around Roxton Elementary School, which doubles as the community's main gathering place for local events.
