Rowland is a small town of under 1,000 people in southeastern North Carolina, right near the South Carolina border. US Highway 301 runs straight through town, making it a convenient stop between Fayetteville and Florence. Most visitors pass through on 301 or take State Route 130 to reach Lumberton and Interstate 95. The town sits on the historic King's Highway route that once connected Charleston to Boston.
