Round Valley is a small mountain community in central Arizona's Gila County, home to about 630 residents at 5,000 feet elevation. Most visitors arrive via the scenic Beeline Highway (SR-87) from Phoenix, a 90-mile drive through desert into pine country, then continue on local roads. The area offers cooler temperatures than lower desert regions and features a historic 1920s one-room schoolhouse that still stands today.
