Rothbury is a tiny Michigan town about 15 miles inland from Lake Michigan, reached via US-31 from Grand Rapids (60 miles) or Muskegon (25 miles). The rolling farmland community of 356 people experiences lake-effect winters and humid summers. It's famous for hosting the massive Electric Forest electronic music festival each summer at nearby Double JJ Ranch.
