Roswell is a historic suburb about 20 miles north of Atlanta, connected by Highway 400 and I-285. This former mill town along the Chattahoochee River has become a major residential area while keeping its 19th-century charm. The original cotton mill ruins from the 1830s still stand at Vickery Creek, built with granite from Stone Mountain.
