Rosston is a small Arkansas town of 391 people near the Louisiana border in Nevada County. US Highway 371 runs north-south through town, connecting to Prescott 15 miles north, while State Highway 24 provides east-west access to other county communities. The area sits in rolling Ouachita foothills where pine forests meet farmland, with humid summers and mild winters. Rosston takes its name from Terre Rouge Creek, originally French for "red earth."
