Rosholt is a farming town of 428 people in northeastern South Dakota, ten miles from Minnesota. US Highway 12 runs right through town, connecting east to Ortonville and west toward Aberdeen. Most visitors arrive via Interstate 29, then take Highway 12 west. The grain elevator towers over the flat prairie and can be seen for miles around.
