Rosedale is a small Mississippi Delta town on the river, reached via Highway 8 from Cleveland or Highway 1 along the Great River Road. Most visitors drive from Jackson (2 hours via Highway 49 north) or Memphis (90 minutes via Highway 61 south). The town's claim to fame is its historic hand-pulled cable ferry that still carries cars across the Mississippi to Arkansas.
