Rose Hill is a small Kansas city about 20 miles southeast of Wichita, reached via I-35 south to Exit 42. Highway 15 runs through town connecting to Derby and other nearby communities. The city of 4,200 sits on rolling prairie with typical Great Plains weather and limited EV charging. It's named for the pink limestone bluffs that early settlers thought looked like rose-colored hills.
