Roscoe is a small northern Illinois city near the Wisconsin border, about 20 miles northwest of Rockford. Take I-90 to Exit 1 (US Route 251) to reach downtown. Route 173 runs east-west through town, while US 251 heads north into Wisconsin. Most residents commute to Rockford for work, a quick 15-minute drive south. The restored 1857 railroad depot now serves as the town's community center.
