Roosevelt Park is a small Lake Michigan community in Muskegon County, home to about 4,100 people. Reach it via I-96 from Grand Rapids (40 miles) or US-31 along the lakeshore. The moderating lake climate brings cooler summers but plenty of lake-effect snow in winter. The city still has an original A&W drive-in with carhop service.
