Roosevelt is a tiny farming town of 150 people in Minnesota's far northwest corner, near the Canadian border. Take Highway 11 west from Roseau (15 miles) or connect from US Highway 59 for north-south travel. The nearest airport is Warroad International Memorial, about 25 miles northeast. The town's grain elevator dominates the flat prairie skyline for miles around.
