Ronda is a small mountain community of 436 people in northwestern North Carolina's Wilkes County. Highway 21 runs right through town, connecting south to Statesville and I-77 (45 minutes) or north toward Virginia. Route 268 intersects here, heading east to North Wilkesboro. The area sits in the foothills with cooler weather than the coastal plains, and Wilkes County Airport provides a useful landmark for navigation.
