Rollingwood is a lakeside community eight miles west of downtown Austin, sitting where the Colorado River forms Lake Austin. Take MoPac south to Bee Cave Road west, or use the scenic Lake Austin Boulevard route. From the airport, it's 25 miles via Highway 71 to MoPac. This tiny incorporated city covers just 1.7 square miles entirely within a bend of the lake.
