Rockwell is a farming town of about 1,000 people in north-central Iowa, located on Highway 18 about 12 miles west of Mason City. Most visitors drive Highway 18 from Mason City or take I-35 to the Clear Lake exit and head east. The town still has its original 1900 railroad depot building, now home to the local historical society.
