Rockville is a tiny farming town of 153 people in west-central Missouri's Bates County. Take I-49 from Kansas City (75 miles) to Route 52 west, or drive short distances from Butler (15 miles) or Nevada (20 miles) for local trips. The town still shows its 1880s railroad-era street grid with original building foundations visible along the former main commercial strip.
