Rockport is a small Ohio River town in southwestern Indiana that serves as Spencer County's seat. US Highway 231 provides the main north-south route through town, connecting to I-64 for access from Indianapolis (120 miles) or Louisville (60 miles). State roads 66 and 161 handle local traffic. The town's 1879 limestone courthouse features a working clock tower that's been keeping time for nearly 150 years.
