Rockbridge is a tiny Greene County community of 146 people along the Illinois River bluffs, about 60 miles north of St. Louis. Take I-72 to Exit 35, then Route 267 south for 8 miles. The town sits near the old Chicago and Alton Railroad line that once brought prosperity to this rural stretch of western Illinois.
