Rochester is western New York's third-largest city, positioned where the Genesee River meets Lake Ontario. I-90 provides the main long-distance access, while I-490 cuts through downtown connecting to I-390 and I-590. Route 104 hugs the lakeshore, and Routes 15 and 96 lead south to the Finger Lakes. The airport sits 10 minutes from downtown via I-390. The 96-foot High Falls waterfall cascades right through the city center.
