Roberts is a small farming town in eastern Idaho along Interstate 15, about 20 miles north of Idaho Falls. Take Exit 143 off I-15 to reach the town center via Roberts Road. The community sits on the Snake River Plain at 4,800 feet elevation, surrounded by potato and grain fields. Most traffic uses I-15 for long-distance travel between Salt Lake City and Montana, while locals rely on US Highway 91 for trips to nearby Rigby and other Jefferson County towns. The town features one of Idaho's last original railroad-era grain elevators, a concrete tower that serves as a landmark across the flat agricultural landscape.
